Terms and Conditions

Please read carefully; by confirming an order with us you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.

GENERAL

All estimates are made and all orders are accepted subject to the following terms and conditions, no addition thereto or variation therein shall be made or apply unless expressly agreed in writing by the owners of the products and all other printed or standard conditions are hereby excluded.

DESCRIPTION OF GOODS

All goods are sold as seen, colours and patterns are individually created by us (iridescentart or thirteenbeing). Artistic licence is part of any hand crafted item and will not have any colours, shapes, sizes or ideas that follow pre-supposed rules.

PRICE VARIATION

Price variations are based on time and effort required to prepare, design, produce and finalise items, so this is reflected in the price of the finished items.

ORDERS

iridescentart.com reserves the right to accept or refuse the sale of items.

COPYRIGHT

All items on the iridescentart.com site are originals made by myself (Lin McDonald) or by other family members. All work is copyright and reproducing any of the artwork or designs printed on the clothing is theft and has severe penalties.

GETTING SIZE CORRECT

All watercolour paintings have been measured, not all have mounts on them, but image and mount measurements are stated with the description. Other artwork has also been measured in the same way. A few Oil paintings have a frame on them, but as my husband used to make them himself (and has passed away) most are sold without. Purchaser will need to make own arrangements regarding framing of paintings.

IN THE CASE OF CLOTHING

The measurements stated are the actual item measures not the body size they are for. Adult Ts will generally need to be at least 7cm bigger around the chest than the measure of item.

FOR EXAMPLE:

A person with a chest that measures 48” or 122cm

The T-shirt should measure 51” or 130cm

In the case of children’s or babies clothing its more around 2” or 5cm in difference. Clearly with children you may want to go bigger to allow a bit of growth.

Some clothing has more stretch in the fabric so these will be a bit more generous in fit.

ADVICE:

If you are unsure, measure the chest of an item that you wear in the present, and use that as a guide.
